About Me

Jeff Mariotte is the award-winning author of more than forty-five novels, including the supernatural thrillers Cold Black Hearts, River Runs Red and Missing White Girl (all as Jeffrey J. Mariotte) and books set in the universes of CSI, 30 Days of Night, Spider-Man, Superman, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, and more. His original teen horror series Witch Season has been nominated for the Bram Stoker Award. He is also the author of original horror novel The Slab, and more comic books than he has time to count, including Desperadoes, Zombie Cop, Fade to Black, Garrison, Barack Obama: The Comic Book Biography and more. Some of his comic books have been nominated for Glyph, Stoker and International Horror Guild awards. With his wife Maryelizabeth Hart and partner Terry Gilman he co-owns Mysterious Galaxy, a bookstore specializing in science fiction, fantasy, mystery and horror. He lives on the Flying M Ranch in southeastern Arizona with his family and pets, in a home filled with books, music, toys, and other examples of American pop culture.
